Edging

Take a look at almost any neighborhood, and you'll see that each homeowner has a definite idea when it comes to edging their flowerbeds or trees. Some like to use wood or metal while others prefer brick, concrete or plastic. And many just opt for some form of natural edging created by digging around the area. Edging or borders add a nice decorative touch and provide a clean, crisp definition to yard areas. On the sensible side, edgings also help keep soil and mulch in and grass or weeds out of well-tended beds. When it comes to edging materials, there are plenty of choices. What you end up with will depend on the look you're trying to achieve and the amount of time and money you're willing to spend on installation and materials.
